Our program depends on the generosity of volunteers—classroom aides, event helpers, and substitute catechists. Whether you can serve regularly or just once in a while, your time and heart matter.

No experience needed—just a willingness to help and complete basic safety training.

Able to help? Sign up to volunteer as a classroom aide, substitute, or event helper—let Sydney know!

    • Will Your Child Live Catholic Without You?

Parents have a beautiful and important role—to get their children to Heaven. Many think that sending kids to catechism is enough, but receiving the sacraments is just the start of their journey with Jesus.

Catechism plants the seeds of faith, but those seeds need ongoing care. Just like plants need sun and water to grow, faith needs prayer, Scripture, Mass, the sacraments, acts of charity, and learning more about God—especially when done together as a family.

Kids don’t learn faith only from books—they learn by imitating their parents. If you don’t go to Mass, they won’t either when they grow up. If you don’t pray, they may not see the value in it. If you don’t love your faith, they likely won’t either—and might eventually walk away from it.

Let’s be honest: social media and the world often speak against God and faith. Evil no longer hides. Kids are told that sin, hell, and even God don’t exist.

Parents, the spiritual battle is real, and the family is under attack. But here’s the good news: the Church gives you everything you need to build a strong, holy family. Don’t stop at catechism class. Review lessons together, pray the Rosary, or simply ask your child, “Can I pray for you?” That one question could open the door to deeper faith—for both of you.

When Jesus is the center of your family, grace flows freely.
