  The Catechism of the Catholic Church (2181) reminds us that skipping Mass on these days without a serious reason is a grave sin, as it breaks our promise to keep holy the Lord’s Day.
  But the invitation is more than obligation—it's a gift. At Mass, we receive grace, hear God’s Word, and stay rooted in the life of the Church. Missing it can weaken that connection and spiritual nourishment.
