A Jubilee Year is a rare and sacred time in the Catholic Church—celebrated every 25 years—for deep spiritual renewal, mercy, and pilgrimage. Rooted in Leviticus 25, it echoes God’s call to release, rest, and return. First declared in 1300, Jubilees offer powerful graces and indulgences. Jubilee 2025, proclaimed by Pope Francis, invites us to become “Pilgrims of Hope”—to rediscover faith, heal as a Church, and walk forward in joy.
3 Ways We’re Marking Jubilee in Our Parishes
This is the Year to hope BIG— Ready for a Jubilee Book Study? June - July
Interested in a Book Study? We’re forming small groups for a 6–8 week study of Jesus and the Jubilee by Dr. John Bergsma this June and July. Books will be about $15.
Why now? Because this is a Jubilee Year in the Church—a time to go BIG with joy, freedom, restoration, and return. Dr. Bergsma shows how Jesus fulfills this promise and how the Church invites us to live it today.
