Marriage is a sacred sacrament within the Catholic Church—a beautiful vocation where a man and woman freely enter a lifelong covenant of faithful love. In this sacrament, they are united not only with each other, but also with God. Catholic marriage is far more than a legal union; it is a grace-filled calling that reflects Christ’s love for His Church.
Through sacramental marriage, the couple receives a unique outpouring of grace to strengthen them in living out their vows with perseverance, joy, and self-giving love. Their relationship becomes a living witness to God’s enduring faithfulness.
“For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This mystery is a profound one, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church; however, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
— Ephesians 5:31–33 (RSV)
We look forward to supporting you on this joyful journey.
